Following a Senate Banking Committee hearing on a request for $34 billion in emergency aid for the automobile industry, Senator Dodd spoke to reporters and answered questions about the hearing. He said that he generally supported the bail out but that nay financial aid would have to come with serious restrictions on the use of the funds and operations of the companies. close
