Republican challenger Tom Rooney spoke about his campaign against Representative Tim Mahoney. This was intended to be a debate between Mr. Rooney and Rep. Tim Mahoney, however Rep. Mahoney canceled his appearance at the last moment. Rep. Mahoney said that he would not debate if there were cameras allowed.

After Mr. Rooney’s opening statement, moderator Jim Sackett asked the debate questions prepared by the board of the Forum Club. Then he read questions submitted by members of the audience.

This Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon event was held at the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. close
