Congressman Dingell marked 50 years in the U.S. House on December 13, 2005. Elected officials from Michigan, as well as Vice President Cheney and current members of congress, paid tribute in honor of Representative Dingell’s 50th anniversary.

Former President Bill Clinton presided over a video by the Committee to Honor John Dingell. Ms. Woodruff, former CNN anchor, moderated the event.
