Diane Nash, who helped coordinate the Freedom Rides in the 1960s, spoke about her role as a founding member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), and her time in the South. She also argued for on-going social change. She spoke with MSNBC’s Melissa Harris- Perry at Tulane University in New Orleans, where Ms. Perry is a professor.
