Witnesses testified about law enforcement measures instituted in response to September 11 terrorist attacks and the ensuing efforts to combat international terrorism. Among the issues they addressed were military tribunals, rights of aliens living in the U.S., criminal investigations of suspected terrorists, and other civil rights issues resulting from antiterrorism efforts.
