Witnesses focused on contracts with Host Nation Trucking in Afghanistan and an internal Defense Department report indicating that $360 million had gone to warlords and insurgents. Another recent report by the Commission on Wartime Contracting showed $60 billion was lost to waste and fraud over the past decade in Afghanistan and Iraq.
