Panelists talked about the the legal aspects of preventing bullying. Dr. Srabstein said that bullying was a very serious health risk and the victims were at higher risk of suffering from physical or emotional problems.

“State and Federal Laws, Policies, and Guidance” was a break-out session of the day-long summit “Keeping Kids Safe: Opportunities and Challenges in Bullying Prevention,” hosted by the Department of Education. It was the fourth summit of the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention, an inter-agency working group. close
