The House Post Office and Civil Service Subcommittee on Census and Population heard testimony in the first of a series of hearings focusing on the changing demographic profile of America, and how the changes will affect U.S. public policy in the future. The series of hearings was entitled, “America’s Changing Profile.” Witnesses included demographers and public policy scholars as well as representatives of the U.S. Census Bureau. close
