The Iowa Brown and Black Coalition Presidential Forum at the Polk County Convention Center was shown courtesy of MSNBC. Eight of the nine Democratic presidential candidates debated various issues, including homeland security, the space program, the situation in Iraq, immigration, and racism and race relations in America. NBC News Anchor Lester Holt and Telemundo News Anchor Maria Celeste Arraras co-moderated the debate. Candidates responded to questions from the moderators, and were also given an opportunity to question one another. close
