Republican party members talked about ways to energize the 2000 presidential campaign and ways to frame their message. They were followed by former Speaker Gingrich who said that the elimination of prayer from schools, lack of teaching about the Constitution, and the steady stream of violence in the media had produced teen-agers who were morally adrift. He also said that military operations in Yugoslavia posed a threat to U.S. security and prestige.
