Governor Dean spoke to supporters about his presidential campaign. Among the topics he addressed were the state of the economy, Bush administration policies, taxes, health care, education and policy toward Iraq.

The program included a brief interview with Mr. Salzman, and a press availability by Mr. Reiner. After the speech the participants boarded busses on the start of a bus tour of Iowa prior to the January 19th caucuses.

During much of the speech Martin Sheen, who played the president on television’s “The West Wing,” was seen standing behind Governor Dean.
