A panel discussion was held on the historical impact of the 1935 Social Security Act and the National Labor Relations Act on American life and society, as well as the current state of Social Security and labor relations and what could be expected in the future. Alan Chartock moderated.
“The Social Security Act and the National Labor Relations Board” was part of the series of public forums, “1935 and the Enduring New Deal,” held in honor of the 75th anniversary of the enactment of the Social Security Act and National Labor Relations Act at the FDR Presidential Library, co-sponsored by the Roosevelt Institute.
