On the eve of the annual Labor Day vacation period, labor officials spoke to reporters about the nation’s workforce and the state of the economy. Among the issues they addressed were employment figures, health care disparity, retirement and pension plans, and the state of the union movement. Mr. Molyneux used charts and graphs during his presentation. Following their individual remarks, the officials collectively responded to questions and comments from the reporters. close
