At its annual Lincoln Day dinner, the Georgia Republican Party saluted the career and leadership of Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA). Georgia Republicans and others, including Representative John Kasich (R-OH) and the new chair of the Republican National Committee, James Nicholson, spoke. After a video about the benefits he has brought to Georgia, Speaker Gingrich addressed the crowd and stressed the need for Republicans to reach out to all citizens and all factions in Congress while remaining consistent with their values of more freedom for all citizens. close
