Officials, candidates and others spoke about their support for Vice President Gore’s candidacy and about core Democratic values. Among the issues they addressed were health care, raising the minimum wage, hate crimes, issues of inclusion, and policies designed to strengthen working families. Toward the end of the session they paid tribute to police officers and firefighters.
