The National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill released its preliminary findings on the causes of the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Following opening comments by the commission co-chairs, San Sankar questioned experts on deepwater drilling. During their testimony, witnesses said that an internal BP memo indicated that the Deepwater Horizon oil rig workers were pressured to complete work on the well.

This was the second day of the fifth series of hearings. close
