Dr. Tom Frieden spoke to reporters about CDC (Centers for Disease Control) efforts to improve health care worker safely in response to the nurse in Dallas who was diagnosed with Ebola after treating a man infected with the virus. He said the CDC had sent a team to Dallas that would ensure a site manager was on duty 24-hours a day, increase training, and recommend that the number of staff who interact with Ebola patients be limited. He also announced that a CDC response team with be dispatched to any U.S. hospital with a diagnosed Ebola case. Dr. David Lakey updated reporters on the condition of the patient in Dallas. close
