Former Bush administration Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson and former Obama senior presidential adviser David Axelrod talked about the 2008 financial crisis. They discussed some of the steps taken by their respective administrations to improve the economy, public reaction to those measures, the transition between the Bush and Obama administrations, and the lessons learned five years after the crisis.

“Where Are We Now?” was part of “Five Years Later: A Financial Crisis Symposium” held at Venue SIX10 at the Spertus Institute, by the University of Chicago’s The Institute of Politics and the Paulson Institute. close
