President Bill Clinton took part in a discussion focusing on solutions to the problem of attacks on people because of race or sexual orientation. The panel discussed different way in which to approach the problem and how words and symbols affect those who are the focus of hate crimes. President Clinton talked about the different kinds of hate crimes that have been committed and said that the government must make sure that laws protect all citizens. close
