Matt Ridley talked about his biography, Francis Crick: Discoverer of the Genetic Code, published by Eminent Lives. Mr. Ridley described the life of theorist and scientist Francis Crick. Crick, noted for being one of the co-discoverers of the DNA code, was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1962 along with James Watson and Maurice Wilkins. Mr. Ridley chronicled Francis Crick’s discovery of genetic code and his method of exploring biological ideas through conversation and visual imagery. After his presentation the author answered audience members' questions. close
