A look at the creative side of the cable industry with Matt Weiner, the writer and creator of the AMC TV series “Mad Men” which would end its run in the next year after seven seasons. He talked about how the series had affected his life and career. He was joined by Joshua Sapan, who commented on changes in technology that had helped facilitate more attention to original programming. Melissa Grego moderated.
