The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee held a forum on the state of journalism in the U.S. and Arab world and news coverage of the efforts to combat terrorism. Among the topics they addressed were differing perceptions of U.S. methods of prisoner interrogation, the amount of time devoted to war coverage, and interpretation of news stories by differing audiences.
