Panelists talked about media coverage of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon by various news media organizations, as well as the role of the media in the formulation of foreign policy. Among the topics they addressed were the editorial content of television images and subject material, time given to opposing viewpoints, use of propaganda by states and organizations, and the impact of media coverage on public opinion. Following the panel presentations they responded to questions from the audience.
