Participants discussed two studies concerning newspaper and television coverage of AIDS related issues over the past fifteen years. They examined both where U.S. citizens get their information about AIDS and how this information is transmitted to them by the media. They also examined the relationship between people' knowledge of AIDS and attitudes towards the disease and media coverage of it. They also took questions from the audience. close
