Inside the Dittmar Memorial Gallery, Christopher Tomlins talked about his book The United States Supreme Court: The Pursuit of Justice, published by. Houghton Mifflin. The book takes a current and historical look at the Supreme Court. Mr. Tomlins talked extensively about former Chief Justice William Rehnquist’s career, his time on the court, and his legacy. He also spoke about current Chief Justice John Roberts and Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers. Following his presentation, Mr. Tomlins responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.
