Professor Francois talked about two affirmative action cases being heard in oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court later in the year. The Court would consider the constitutionality of programs that used race to determine a student’s enrollment to a public school. The cases were Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District #1 and Meredith v. Jefferson County Board of Education. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
