Panelists discussed corporate responsibility. Among the specific issues addressed were over-reliance on stock price as a measure of success, incentives to provide false or misleading financial information, the role of regulations, and cooperation between the federal government and state governments. Mr. Lockyer moderated the discussion. Following brief statements, panelists responded to questions from the audience. Mr. Panetta then introduced Rep. Oxley, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. Rep.
