Members of the public paid respect to the civil rights leader and wife of Martin Luther King, Jr. Coretta Scott King died on January 30, 2006 after suffering a stroke and a mild heart attack.
The public viewing was held in the rotunda until 8 pm EST. The funeral was to be held at noon EST at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia.
