Senate Candidate Pete Coors (R-CO) conceded defeat. U.S. Senator-Elect Ken Salazar (D-CO) defeated Mr. Coors in his bid to fill the seat vacated by retiring Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell. Mr. Coors congratulated his opponent and thanked his supporters, staff, family, and friends for their hard work during the campaign.
