New York Gov. Mario Cuomo placed Democratic presidential candidate Gov. Bill Clinton’s name into nomination on the third evening of the 1992 Democratic National Convention in New York, NY. Gov. Cuomo recited the “litany of pain” faced by Americans during the previous 12 years of Republican administrations, and held up Gov. Clinton as the alternative that would put the country on a new course economically and socially with the “politics of inclusion.” Gov. Cuomo’s remarks were preceded by a short video on the state of New York and the career of Gov. Cuomo.
