Mr. Brady talked about the effects of the Brady bill, which was named after him. This is the one-year anniversary of the enactment of the law which restricts the sale of some semi-automatic weapons. In an attempted assassination in which President Reagan was wounded, Mr. Brady was shot and permanantly impaired.
