In a field hearing at the Orange County courthouse, task force members heard testimony concerning evidence of voting irregularities such as voting by non-citizens. Rep. Sanchez won by less than 1,000 votes. This portion features testimony from local, state and federal electoral officials concerning the process of registration and voting in the 46th district and the possibility of irregularities. In his testimony, the secretary of state stated that there were 303 illegally registered voters in the district who were registered by an immigrants rights groups, but it was unclear for whom they voted.
