Ambassador John Bolton talked about the 2008 presidential candidates and about foreign policy. Following the ambassador’s speech, Gary Jarmin moderated a discussion, “What Is a Conservative Foreign Policy?” The speakers discussed topics such as protecting U.S. interests, maintaining peace through strength, and the legacy of President Ronald Reagan. They also talked about incorporating important historical, cultural and religious factors in foreign policy. After their remarks they responded to audience members' questions.
