Former Secretary of State Albright talked about future foreign policy challenges and the ability of future administrations to respond to threats. She said the U.S. could take more aggressive steps in Syria without backing from the U.N. as long as the effort was supported by a coalition of nations like NATO or the Arab League. She also defended President Obama’s approach to foreign policy, describing it as conveying “confidence, not arrogance.” She responded to questions from the audience. She was also presented with a plaque.
