Senator Bennett and various computer specialists and economists talked about potential problems associated with computers and the year 2000. Much of the discussion centered on the interactions across industries, governments and nations. The panelists cautioned that while an individual company may be year 2000-compliant, they would still experience problems because other systems are non-compliant.
