Doctors Zwanziger and Kaplan talked about the social and ethical implications efforts to development drugs to improve cognitive enhancement in the treatment of several disorders. They talked about potential social consequences of using new technologies and drug applications, regulating the use of new treatments, standards for medical treatments, as well as the role of both government and the medical community in permitting treatments and experiments. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
