Mr. Trulock talked about his book Code Name Kindred Spirit: Inside the Chinese Nuclear Espionage Scandal, published by Encounter Books. Mr. Trulock, Director of the Office of Intelligence from 1994 to 1998, was head of the DOE’s intelligence office during the investigation of the Wen Ho Lee case of espionage. He highlighted the details of how the government caught on to Lee’s attempts to give nuclear warhead secrets to China. Mr. Trulock then answered questions from members of the audience.
