In brief opening remarks, Senator Coburn talked about the problems of government debt, the absence of self-reliance and personal responsibility, the concentration of power in a central government and the need for a constitutional convention to address those issues. He also said that President Obama has come “perilously close” to impeachable offenses for what he called his intended violation of the law.
