The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities sponsored a forum on proposals to offer tax cuts for middle class families in America. Sen. Jay Rockefeller, member of the Senate Finance committee, and Rep. Frank Wolf, member of the House Appropriations committee, along with tax analysts discussed the necessity for offering tax cuts for American middle class families hit hard by economic policies of the 1980's and the recession, and the possible effects of the cuts on the economy and personal spending. close
