Howard University and the National Urban League hosted a Forum on Intelligence & Class Structure in the U.S. Several educational and biological academics participated in a panel discussion on “The Bell Curve,” a recent book investigating differences in intelligence between races. The panelists dismissed the book’s findings and criticized the reasoning. The analysis provided by the book has been subject to great controversy in the media since its publication earlier in the year. Following their prepared remarks, the panelists answered questions from the audience. close
