During a symposium on U.S. labor movement political strategies, participants discussed how it can promote a progressive agenda against the dominance of corporate interests. They examined issues such as whether labor should be less progressive in order to please more of its membership and how the divisions of class, race and gender can be overcome in workers's struggle for more economic and political power. After their presentations, they took questions from the audience.
