President Obama and New Jersey Governor Christie speak after touring storm damage near Brigantine, New Jersey. President Obama told the residents of New Jersey that the federal government was working closely with storm-stricken states and would make sure they get all the help they need as states prepare to rebuild their communities. The president also stated that he had instituted a “15-minute rule,” giving his staff a timeline to return phone calls and “figure out a way to say yes.” Governor Christie praised the president for federal support during and after Hurricane Sandy hit. close
