Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping spoke today to leaders from the private and public sectors at a luncheon. He said the U.S. China relationship is at a “new historical starting point” and China welcomes the constructive role by the United States in promoting peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, but hopes that the U.S. respects those interests of the concerns of the countries in that region. close
