Panelists testified before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission in a public hearing about the origins of the global financial crisis and China’s role in its creation. Among the topics they addressed were the rate of economic growth in China, investments made in U.S. and other Western currency, Chinese export and trade policy, and the outlook for global economic stabilization.
