A panel discussion was held to commemorate the July 2, 2008, centennial of the birth of Justice Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American appointed to the United States Supreme Court. Juan Williams began with a biography of Justice Marshall, and afterward, Sheryll Cashin moderated a panel discussion.
