A memorial service was held for Carla Cohen, founder and co-owner of Washington D.C.,'s Politics and Prose Bookstore, who died on October 11, 2010, at age 74. Ms. Cohen started the bookstore in 1984. Speakers at her memorial included Barbara Meade, co-owner of Politics and Prose; Mark LaFromboise, staff member of Politics and Prose; and authors Howard Norman, Mary Kay Zuravleff, Seymour Hersh, Alexander Zapruder, E.J. Dionne, and Phyllis Theroux. close
