Mayor Rosenthal showed the papers of several U.S. senators and congressmen and the presidential campaign of Oklahoma Governor “Alfalfa Bill” Murray as well as other memorabilia. Video clips were shown, including of Representative Helen Gahagan Douglas in the motion picture She. She also talked about the career of Speaker of the House Carl Albert and showed a replica of his office.

Working with the Cox Communications local cable affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed.
