A hearing was held on the status of the implementation of the Army’s medical action plan, which was created to streamline administrative processes for determining fitness-for-duty/return-to-duty, disability rating, transition to the Department of Veterans Affairs, improving oversight of case management and support for the families of wounded service members, and implement the Wounded Warrior Act which was passed earlier in the year.
