As part of a project sponsored by C-SPAN Television Networks and Time Warner Cable to encourage dialog between students and national figures, Mr. Crichton spoke to high school students. He had sold more than 100 million books, 12 had been made into films including Jurassic Park. He was also the creator of the television series “ER.” In his remarks he talked about his life and career experiences, his decision to be a writer, and other topics.
