As part of a project sponsored by C-SPAN Television Networks and Time Warner Cable to encourage dialog between students and national figures, Harry Thomason spoke to students about his life and career in the entertainment industry, as well as political activities. He was a film and television producer who had been actively involved in the presidential campaigns and inauguration ceremonies of former President Bill Clinton, including producing the biographical film The Man from Hope which was a centerpiece of the 1992 Democratic National Convention. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
